+45 Timothee Chalamet is a terrible actor, amirite?

Did you go to the bathroom during the council meeting seen?

Pretty sure that's exactly how the character was in the book. Chalamet has proven he has range with several other movies already. This is probably just how the director wanted it.

Exactly this. The characters are just like how they are portrayed in the source material.

Nahhhhh its a lot more stilted and rushed in the movies, imo, but Chalamet's acting in Dune is definitely a directorial decision, not an issue with his acting

Tbh I'm trying to figure out if I watched the same movie as OP. Cause Chalamet is anything but flat in his acting as Paul. His delivery range in part 2 in particular is great.

this is unpopular because he is a good actor well done !

He lacks charisma I've seen him in several movies and he's always underwhelming In Dune Part 1 when he learns of his father's death, it was more like watching a kid throw a tantrum after he got his Nintendo taken away He's very pretty, though

He's having a tantrum cause he's a young dude who just saw a vision of himself causing a terrible holy war while dealing with the grief of his father's death.
