People love tyranny as long as they're the tyrant, amirite?

People hate tyranny and kings yet they love the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Rawr! Though wouldn't we all be sad if it sounded like a chicken.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
I would think if you amped it up to 11 and add bae rumble, even chicken "sounds" can be quite scary.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
there was a chicken with a faaaar deeper "voice" then regular somwhere I visited... was all that was needet to make it sound slightly creepy add like a growling sound to it as most big animals have and you got nightmare fuel
by Commercial-You2 weeks ago
Yeah the bones and the stories they would not enjoy living amongst t-rex's
That's cause it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...

I don't know what game you were playing but the only game in my childhood home that inspired more psychotic behavior was risk.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
You probably haven't heard of the ones that don't.

And I like being alive, so you better believe I'll grovel at the feet of whoever's got power

"Rules for thee, but not for me!"

This is what I say to myself when I'm going down a 1 way street in the wrong direction at 3 am on my push bike

...as long as the tyrant is on their side. See: Trump and his cult following. What people don't understand about dictators, tyrants, and fascists is that they do have some public support and loyalists. Maybe not not enough to win a legitimate election, but support all the same. Tyrannts don't typically exist in complete opposition to 100% of the populace.

Well said
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
Get things done my way, why wouldn't I love it?
by esmeralda652 weeks ago
Because you don't actually know what you want, and it's much easier to make things worse than it is to make them better.

I BELIEVE IN FREE SPEECH* *as defined by me.

Why do tyrannical regimes need to censor people?
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
What about the "benevolent dictators"?
by Huelsvictor2 weeks ago
Well people love those even more because they're a kinder gentler machine gun hand.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
true, the benevolent one probably didnt like being one either xd
by SpecialistFit2 weeks ago
I would assume everyone sees themselves as such. The bad thing that happen is for the greater good
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
Hell no! Tyranny is hard work. Kind of dangerous as well. It's much better to have a good friend who's a tyrant.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
So tyranny is like a boat?
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
I think that was the outcome of the Stanford prison experiment

Studies in the 70's were crazy unethical.

Evil never views itself as evil
by legrosfernando2 weeks ago
everyone loves "tyranny" if it provides stability and security
by Anonymous2 weeks ago

by Anonymous2 weeks ago
Senator Palpatine?
by wschiller2 weeks ago
SOME people love tyranny regardless if they are the tyrant
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
Some are all too eager to bow down
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
When you leave tyranny you aren't free, you enter the desert (nihilism). That's why people in Russia and China still look at Mao and Stalin fondly. Better the suffocating order you know, then to be surrounded by chaos.

This Jordan Peterson knockoff needs more crying.

Yes Loki was right.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
they only hate tyrany if its done by the previous guy. and love it when its done by the next one
by SpecialistFit2 weeks ago
This the cycle of endless recriminations
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
Personally, I still wouldn't.
by Anonymous2 weeks ago
I want to be left alone, I dont want power, or status, I just want an internet connection, electricity, water, and a house just outside of town. I'm about as tyrannical as a capybara.
