Dave Chappelle sucks, amirite?

He is Dave Chappelle... a celebrity and one of the greatest comedians of all time. Frankly, i see a lot of plain average middle aged men who are more self aggrandizing and full of themselves than Dave. He kind of just talks like an older person.

I loved the chappelle show, but I don't really go out of my way to watch the standup specials. Maybe I'm just more into sketch comedy

Yeah I think he's funny, when he gets too political I don't love it though. But he's not the only one in that regard, I'm tired of political comedy in general lol

I think he was a great comedian but in hindsight some of the stuff he's done I find to be overly pessimistic. I think he's still good but his wonder days are over.

I know what you're talking about. And to be fairrrrr, he did do that movie with Lady Gaga, which doesn't bode well for his whole stance against Hollywood. And it surprised me that he seems to feel a little too cool for the many podcasts you'd think he'd want to go on. It is odd.

Most big time comedians seem like jerks. They get a free pass to say whatever they want while living the life of luxury and being praised to no end with everyone giving them the benefit of the doubt if any issue comes up. They live in a bubble sheltered away from most real life problems.
