Honestly once a company is able to make more money the stock price almost immediately goes up. There's no "hidden gem" stocks, and since the 1980's 20% of IPOs have failed. Starbucks in it's IPO could have easily been waylaid by supply shortages, or even been a casualty of the coffee wars.

Funny thing is unless it progresses to you being arrested or your wages garnished how do you REALLY know it's not someone trying to scam you?

As a straight guy I still regret ignoring my Nigerian prince. We could have been great together

I know someone who won a timeshare and it was free and they kept thinking it was a scam so they didn't claim it and someone actually showed up at their door like hey we got to give this to you. That or we at least need you to sign off that we can sell it for you. Also know another person who won a raffle for a car in another state and actually went and got the car
