+43 Men deserve flowers/surprise gifts too, amirite?

by Ok-Injury 1 week ago

My wife always brings me food as surprise, good enough for me.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

All I need is food, and I'm pretty happy. I don't like cooking

This is sweet ❤️

But a blowie would really ring the carnival bell!

You ruined it.

Please don't buy me flowers.

Some years ago I had a boyfriend. I used to buy him a lot of gifts, including flowers (I took notes every time he mentioned flowers and always bought his favourite ones). He cheated on me with, like, 5 girls lol

by Anonymous 1 week ago

How often did you random blow him by suprise?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Never. You need consent for that stuff.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Flowers I wouldn't generalize it, I know some men that like flowers, but I know many more that just don't care about it at all and would much prefer not getting any. Surprises on the other hand of course; if you never do sweet things to surprise and make your man happy do you even love him?

Flowers are a complete waste of money.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

100% agree... a lot of us guys absolutely love that sort of stuff. Anything that reminds us that you really do care about us is always gonna be appreciated.

I leave my bf notes when I'm w him. He had no where to keep flowers where he lives(no free surface area) so no point in that rn, but one day I will. He just has to move elsewhere. I know my sister also get her bf flowers.

My girlfriend buys me chocolate that I like to eat when I was kid, when I have my usually gaming time during week. She also makes special kind of food which I like, but I do not what it is. Some mix of cholocate with pudding I guess, but it tastes awesome. She also knows what my favorite games are, and from time to time buys me a present related to those things. I love when she do those things, and I do same for her, even do the care of each other is different, because we are different people. And I am very individual person, and she respects that. I love her so much.

I wouldn't know what to do with a supply of flowers but I would appreciate the gesture. But, yeah, out of all my relationships, I still don't recall any of my exes doing anything for me on Valentine's Day or any holiday aside from my birthday. Christmas would be a mutual gift exchange but that was it, usually I also did something else for them as well. It was always me doing things for them. I never received a surprise gift until a girl I was sort of seeing decided to give me one a few months ago. I didn't expect to feel so weirdly touched and emotional but I was. It wasn't just some random thing, either, she was listening and told me "ever since I've known you, that was the first time I ever heard that you wanted something so I got it for you." I'll definitely remember it forever.

Of course they do, but it's not that no one knows this, it's that no one cares

My bf keeps as many of my tiny love notes, letters or small flowers I give him on a whim. He still has a broken piece of a bracelet thingy in his wallet I made him almost 4 years ago.

I have never once in my life wanted flowers. Now chocolates, sure I love food, but feeding me is immoral because I'm a glutton who can't even be trusted to keep snack foods in my house or I'll eat them all in a single day. Just give me a yoyo or super ball that I can enjoy for five minutes if you want to give me a little gift. Or nothing at all, I don't actually care that much.

by danieljanie 1 week ago

I don't really care for flowers though, maybe a nice gaming accesory

by Anonymous 1 week ago

IS this unpopular? who is out saying women shouldn't surprise their man with a nice snack he likes? My wife always knows my favorite foods better then I know my favorite foods at this point.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I don't think it is unpopular. There are just very small but vocal individuals who have very strongly stupid ideas about stuff like this

exactlyyyy

To each their own, but I would hate this. Please don't ever spend frivolous money on me.

by Mariam25 1 week ago

I totally agree! I (F28) bring my man flowers every week. 😊

by Mellieerdman 1 week ago

Who's gonna send me the surprise pizza?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Would prefer a bj tbh. Just sayin

by Rwillms 1 week ago

Yes, I read somewhere that men tend to only get flowers on the day of their funeral. I give flowers to my dad every once in a while for this reason.

Let me tell you, unexpected pepperoni is better than sex.

by dabbott 1 week ago

What are we supposed to do with flowers just bring food,im not going to eat a flower

BLOW JOBS LADIES - BLOW JOBS

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I second this. Society has socially conditioned us with gender roles with don't give men flowers they're for women, instead give this man beer or a steak because it's ‘manly.'

by Anonymous 1 week ago

My fiance loves orchid so I surprise him with one occasionally, always surprise him with food too 😂 this is an unpopular opinion???

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I do instacart and leave a bunch of flowers with each order. I've never had a man not be thrilled with getting them.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I buy my husband flowers all the time.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Dude I dream of my girlfriend surprising me with lingerie and candles just for no reason other than to do it.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I ghosted a guy pretty badly once… felt so bad I sent him a bouquet to his house. It had a letter apologizing. I hope that's not the only time someone's bought him flowers.
