I told my father once about how it seems like his side of the family only gossip and talk bad about each other, to each other. He said " thats how all families are " ehh, i dont think so buddy. Ive literally never heard any of them have a nice thing to say about anybody, ever. Awful to be around. But im rude and stuck up because i dont want to come around or have anything to do with any of them.

In my experience they think that they are responding normally to a bad situation. In reality they are either not actually in a bad situation or are grossly over reacting
