because we wouldn't be born and haven't seen anybody we wouldn't know what is considered "beautiful" or "handsome" so I might still be ugly or even uglier

This is very much a hypothetical statement. No need to try and make me look like a bad guy for it. Obviously no one would ever want to choose that for themselves. Unless I am reading this wrong because I do have a hard time reading the tone of text sometimes. If that's the case, and you're genuinely asking for if the hypothetical was real..
