+23 Buring bodies is wildly inappropriate. amirite?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Okay, so they're donated for science in medicine. Where do you propose the bodies go after the professionals are done with them?

Cremated and thrown away

Why are you against people keeping the ashes of their loved ones if it's all the same amount of ash anyways, in that case?

by Designer_Stock_4542 1 year ago

It's weird

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Explain?

by Designer_Stock_4542 1 year ago

Why do we bury our remains

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Rotting corpses.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

so burn them?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Typo in title I meant burying. Burn them is the sane way

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Ooooooo okay that makes so much more sense

by Anonymous 1 year ago

It returns the nutrients gifted to us with our life

by Anonymous 1 year ago

No.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Don't be tight, give me your nutrients

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yes! Nutrients OP, give em!

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yeah, that's an unpopular opinion. I believe I will take the side of respecting peoples religions and the traditions of humanity and be on the side of letting people do with their dead what they always have.

by Anonymous 1 year ago

I just think it's disgusting

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Life is generally pretty disgusting. Burial sites are pretty space consuming though, so i'm also for cremating the dead. But nothing wrong with someone wanting to keep the ashes or incorporate some of it in a keepsake.

Buring is not a real word

lol

by Anonymous 1 year ago

What do they do bury someone 5 feet instead? Or do they figure the corpse is completely turned to dust?

by Anonymous 1 year ago

What do you expect medical facilities and science labs to do with them when theyre done? They just get burned and cremated the same way anyways.

I meant burying

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Imo it's just as weird as cremating. Tbh I think full body burial is not as common as it used to be. I feel like most people get cremated and just bury the cremated remains now adays. But that's just one person's experience I guess. You also said you don't think people should keep the ashes. But at that point, they're just ashes. The meaning of those ashes comes from the living loved ones, but it's physically just ash. It's not a dead rotting body. The funeral home could give me the ashes of an old oak tree instead of Meemaw and i wouldn't know the difference

by Larkinbrooks 1 year ago

Get rid if them ashes. Don't carry by body burnt to ash around. Throw that s**t away

by Anonymous 1 year ago

Yes my mistake

by Anonymous 1 year ago

take up unnecessary space
