Rounded to the nearest cent, my underwear are free.

Yeah, but eventually the wife will figure it out and make you wear your own. (Joking)

You can use it the other way too…when I bought an expensive bike, I promised I would ride it until I got the cost under one dollar per mile. Thanks to technology that was easy, but tracking how often you wear a suit or a coat is impractical, unfortunately. Knowing the true cost per wear might be valuable when determining what to actually buy and how much to spend.

The associated cost per day for a wedding dresses is not hidden.

This is assuming you didn't wear it at all before the wedding and will never put it on to reminisce about the day.

So my tattoos are basically free? If you for example spend $10k at 25 and live to 85, that is 60 years of tattoo enjoyment, or $0.46 a day.

Basically free? No. They cost you 10g

I have a shirt I got for free from my brother who also got it for free from his high school over 20 years ago that I still wear. The per day cost of that shirt is asymptotic to 0 at this point.

So does every mile that you drive

I guess if we count a worn outfit would need to be cleaned, so cost of detergent, water, electricity or manual labor? What to like fix a broken button or patch it? What's the hidden cost to a one time worn outfit that's just discarded or forgotten? The cost to obtain a different outfit? I don't think that counts. If anything it's scaling nature reduces the cost per each time worn. Like in a factory, the first unit produced by a machine is worth the cost of the Machine and for every unit produced it's relative cost is distributed across each unit.
