I don't that this is an unpopular opinion. What most people say is that it's easier to take care of shorter hair, but it's definitely harder to style it as well.

As somebody who used to have long hair, it was a hassle to style and very time-consuming versus short hair. You have less options with short hair, but it's all with preference and convenience as well.

I typically like short hair but let my hair grow long for reasons (AKA laziness and cheapness) and my god it was driving me insane. Yeah I could do more with it but it was a lot to take care of and knotting itself up for no reason
