Title: Last Drink Again Verse 1: In the haze of neon lights, Lost within the city's sights. Empty glasses, memories fade, But one sip lingers, a serenade. Chorus: I don't want another drink, Just want that last one to sink. Back to where we laughed and sighed, In that moment, time defied. Verse 2: Echoes of laughter in the air, With every sip, we didn't care. But now alone, the night's grown cold, Longing for the warmth it once did hold. Chorus: I don't want another drink, Just want that last one to link. To a time when everything felt right, In the glow of that bar's soft light. Bridge: Memories swirl, a bittersweet blend, The taste of regret, my dearest friend. But in this longing, a lesson found, In chasing ghosts, we're forever bound. Chorus: I don't want another drink, Just want that last one to brink. Back to where our hearts were free, In that final sip of you and me. Outro: So pour one more, let's raise a toast, To moments cherished, missed the most. For in each sip, a story begins, But I don't want another drink, just that last one again.

"You can be sober, tipsy, drunk or hangover. Tipsy's the only one where you don't cry." James Acaster

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Before bed cries are the worst

by max82 1 week ago

you assume I'm able to fall asleep hahahahahhahahahha

by Anonymous 1 week ago

If you can't fall asleep your malady is not alcohol-related. Not that I am suggesting this as a palliative. In all seriousness I hope your laughter is because you have worked past your trauma and can now find humor in past sources of pain. Your life is meaningful. Others can find empathy with your situation as you can with theirs. Not to be super serious, but you never know, right?

by Bennett29 1 week ago

Honestly tru I didn't think of that

by max82 1 week ago

Every morning two months strong now 💪🥹

by Bentonbotsford 1 week ago

Am I the only one that, while of course sad, still has a tiny part of me that feels better when that happens? It's like I'm cleansing myself of my emotions or something lol and then you get to sleep. I might just be weird though

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Most times I get relief after, but never do the before bed ones give me relief (hope I worded that right, had a few drinks so far… to test the theory of course…)

by max82 1 week ago

Only one you can't distract yourself from :(

by CommentDangerous 1 week ago

And u feel so alone cause everyone else is asleep

by max82 1 week ago

Exactly my problem last night

by CommentDangerous 1 week ago

Don't think, don't let them run through your mind, just keep your eyes on the prize and your focus on the next drink.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Interestingly enough I completely disagree

Ooof. Call me out why dont you -_-

Well, that's just like, your opinion, man. Respectfully.

by Jamarcusdaugher 1 week ago

Entirely dependant on the person doing the drinking lol

by ocieshanahan 1 week ago

Can you get mine pregnant?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You totally can. After 2 beverages, have some water, take a pee and go get some air. Then back to sipping on your 3rd for the next 30 minutes

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yeah slightly tipsy good times. Next minute waking up in a bush.

by Reingerelody 1 week ago

But it is!! There is a simple trick: Drink alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks interchangeably.

by Marianne21 1 week ago

Shot, shot, shot, white claw for an hour, shot, white claw for an hour Something like that

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Nonsense when youre getting close you drink water in between drinks and just sip your alcohol.

by dejonwisoky 1 week ago

What do you mean? For some people it is and for others it isn't.

by Acrobatic-Holiday 1 week ago

Hubris has defeated better than you. Use a timer or a thermometer, bro. What you're doing is more dangerous than the pull out method, bro, with far worse consequences!

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Brother. I promise, I will eat dank dinner tonight.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Godspeed my brother

by Anonymous 1 week ago

This makes me think of the James Acaster joke: "Tipsy is the best thing you can be in life. There's 4 things you can be: sober, tipsy, drunk, or hungover. And tipsy is the only one where you don't cry during it."

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Nah I love being super drunk but the hangovers are tough

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I agree, good thing I'm young and don't get bad hangovers for now unless I go ham

by Anonymous 1 week ago

If you want to make hangovers better do a couple things: -Chug a bunch of water right before you go to bed -try to get at least 8 hours of sleep -don't stay in bed in the morning, get up and make coffee or tea as well as making something of some kind of dough. -lastly, try and end the night on sweets instead of harder liquor and beer. I don't know why, but ending my nights on a drink on the sweeter side always ends in lesser hangovers.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I disagree, I very much enjoy being plastered because it is the only time where my brain actually quiets down.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

100 it's why sake is served small, tipsy food tastes the best. Drunk your pallet is numb.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

No beer is better than the first.

Idk man the 4th one really hits the spot for me.

by murraylanden 1 week ago

One of my biggest problems in life is that I love drinking but I hate being drunk.

by hmueller 1 week ago

Why do you like drinking?

by Hot-Sundae 1 week ago

Gotta stay hydrated. Nothing better than a cold cup of water on a hot day! On the other hand, I would hate to be that cup of water.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Being tipsy with your partner and just spending time together cuddling or talking is one of the best things on earth

by Anonymous 1 week ago

while sitting on the beach dunes in the late afternoon

by Remarkable_Chart3429 1 week ago

It's actually the process of getting intoxicated that you are talking about. If you just maintain being "tipsy" it won't be so great

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Getting drunk is awesome. Being drunk, not so much.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

being drunk is just the result of recently being sober

by Tavares51 1 week ago

My great aunt agreed with this. She kept a buzz for 50 years.

by Livid-Alfalfa 1 week ago

That's why is not good enough Behold the paradox

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Hammer time!

by No_Possibility3091 1 week ago

Being drunk sucks…. Getting there however…

by Every-Ad648 1 week ago

There's a sweet spot. After my first 3-4 drinks I want to maintain that level of buzz for the rest of the night

by Enough_Jackfruit 1 week ago

and always allow at least 1 hour of no drinking before going to sleep to minimize hangover

by Remarkable_Chart3429 1 week ago

please provide an update on if that's how you still feel 12 hours from now

by Remarkable_Chart3429 1 week ago

You spend the entire night chasing the sensation of your first drink

by lstamm 1 week ago

staying tipsy is like tightrope walking

by Soft_Chemist 1 week ago

Remember, folks: If you don't remember if you had a good time last night, You Did NOT Have A Good Time! What's the point of having fun if you don't REMEMBER having fun?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

A hydrated drunk is a happy drunk 🥴

by Silly-Broccoli 1 week ago

I prefer brown out, not exactly black out. But drunk enough to not remember some of the night.

by Cortiz 1 week ago

Me one time at a club, i forget that i had just ordered and was surprised when the bartender brought my order

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Not what sprung to mind when I first read "brown out". I was concerned.

by Zealousideal_You9730 1 week ago

Or can remember stuff, but you have to actively work to recall the events from the night before. "What movie were we watching? I remember laughing, and it's one I've seen before, and it was stupid…Airplane! That's right!"

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I totally agree with that. It's cheaper, too.

by Ethyl15 1 week ago

For me sparkling wine keeps me tipsy and the energy level still high

by sadieluettgen 1 week ago

This sounds like cat on a hot tin roof

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I prefer being drunk.

by PhysicalElk 1 week ago

Then why can't I just get tipsy?

by Frequent_Maybe_8557 1 week ago

You only decide to take the first drink. After that, the drink takes a drink.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Buzz driving is drunk driving.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yes. The hard part is being tipsy and not go over to drunk or getting a headache. Good luck chasing that dragon.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

That depends on who drunk me.

by Empty-Fondant963 1 week ago

It's such a fine line though

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Tipsy is being drunk.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

True. Source: right now

by Agile_Break3915 1 week ago

You are correct. It's the holding it there that's the problem.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

A nice hum is ideal for me.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Pre-tipsy is where it's at. I'm a friggin superhuman from drinks 2-4.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yup, and we all fail to maintain that exact perfect window. You either get too drunk too fast or it fades away too quick.

by Significant_Cat 1 week ago

Agreed. I don't drink often but being drunk is a lot of fun then hell. Tipsy is a hoot then you're back to normal. I

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Dear alcohol by Dax does a pretty good job at explaining why people love to be piss drunk. At least for me.

by ubayer 1 week ago

There is no tipsy, just varying levels of intoxicated. You can still make terrible decisions while buzzed or tipsy.

by Kautzerlulu 1 week ago

You can make terrible decisions while sober too. And there is a point where your alcohol intake becomes literally toxic, when your liver can't keep up with the byproduct of drinking, acetaldehyde. Stay within that limit and you won't experience hangovers and tissue damage (brain, kidney, liver, etc.).

by Embarrassed-Cap 1 week ago

Isn't that basically saying "losing a finger is 10x better than losing your arm"

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I think you've had one too many

by Valentinastrosi 1 week ago

Perhaps

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Fingers or arms?

by boyletia 1 week ago

Tipsy is way better than drunk. But if I get drunk I do a line or two and then boom I'm no longer drunk just high

by Motor-Park5027 1 week ago

"What's wrong with being drunk?" "Ask a glass of water."

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Getting drunk is way more fun than being drunk

by Anonymous 1 week ago

The problem is the 10 minute delay. Ten minutes ago was 2 drinks too long ago.

by Ecstatic-Newt-2350 1 week ago

I did the research and people who are tipsy are much more coherent and able to do their usual stuff vs when people are drunk

by Anonymous 1 week ago

This is the difference between career drinkers and amateurs

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yes, drug use has better outcomes at sensible dosages.

by cassandre48 1 week ago

It is, I'm always trying to maintain the nice tipsy right before drunk feeling. When I'm drunk I just start feeling like makeup is coming off, I'm sweaty, and messy, and just want to go to sleep lol.

by marlen07 1 week ago

and being high is 10x better than being tipsy.

by GoatTerrible4570 1 week ago

Context is everything. I've been high as a kite and troubled as hell. I've been tipsy as a teacup and having the time of my life.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

High on what though

by Anonymous 1 week ago

So, so true. I always say, lots of people love drinking but nobody actually loves being drunk.

by Dizzy_Average2072 1 week ago

I love being drunk tf

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Uhh you sure about that?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I mean I had an alcoholic grandmother who drank herself to death and estranged us from her forever so maybe I'm biased against it. I personally have always hated crossing the line yet I've done it so many times.

by Dizzy_Average2072 1 week ago

What's the difference? Because aren't those pretty much the same thing?

by Angeline19 1 week ago

Tipsy is when your drunkenness is rising. From 0 or 1 promille, a great feeling.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Tipsy is just such a fun place to be Jokes you say still make sense You're literally in the funny drunk spectrum which is nicee

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Being high is better than being drunk.

by No_Try_9450 1 week ago

Yeah but not better than microdosing and being tipsy. Bit of shrooms and a couple drinks while in nature is the best.

by Embarrassed-Cap 1 week ago
