+28 You can't learn what it really takes to be a great artist without talent, amirite?

Talent means nothing without hard work, though.

Even drawing from reference someone can convey emotion and meaning in how they do so. Do they use pen or ink brush or a pencil? Do they use broad sweeping lines or short nervous lines or no lines at all.

Im assuming you consider yourself one of the great talented? I think the idea of greatness is not helpful to most artists and someone's passion and intent matters more than greatness

I don't consider myself great, not even close and never said I do, idk where did you get that idea from. All I said is that most artists are insanely mediocre and ordinary when they think that they are ''professionals'' (I've seen many of them) when in reality they are buncha dudes who redraw an existing piece. I might not be a professional as well but at least I know it. I mean, you can't call yourself a singer if you only sing other's song right? or if you do then you must do it in style, otherwise you just add nothing to it and you're not creative Also, drawing from imagination is not learnable while everyone says it is, it's just stupid considering that those same people that tell this can't draw from imagination, they literally lie to each other and it's bad for their own good
