For decades I'd see the Sonic commercials for cherry limeade, and I was intrigued, but there was no Sonic in my city. They just opened a Sonic in my neighborhood and I'm gonna try the drink as soon as it gets hot out. The Minute Maid cherry limeade is pretty good.

Try this. In a 12oz. glass, 1oz. Agave Syrup, 1/2oz. Lime juice, 1/2oz. Lemon juice, fill with cold water and mix. I usually have fresh 50/50 lemon/lime juice in my fridge so I make these all the time, they're great. Adjust the amount of syrup to taste or use a different syrup, or plain simple syrup, or just sugar.

A cherry limeade just has Sprite, just swap for root beer. The cheery and lime PERFECTLY compliment the birch and vanilla. Sorry you don't have good taste.

I love limeaid. My grandma used to make it for me and she'd add a little salt. It cuts some if the bitter and it makes it an electrolyte to help you hydrate.

This is so valid, I love lemons but the sugar overpowers lemons mild flavor. Limes have a much stronger bitter taste so limeade just works way better.

True. I like bitter flavors more than sour because I feel like it's a little less common than sour. I don't have any science to back it up, but I also kind of feel like limes have a more complex flavor than lemons. I prefer limeade.

Lmao Fr, I've heard limes are more sour so they have a stronger taste than lemonade. My entire life, my family has only ever bought limes instead of lemons bc they're cheaper (which makes sense as they're smaller than lemonade now that I think about it) but when we made limeade, we just called it lemonade so the first time I had actual lemonade, I was like "where's the flavor?!" Maybe I'm just used to juicing a bunch of limes but is the size difference really that big that it would make a difference juicing limes vs lemons?
