First of all, I've never heard of anyone saying grandmothers don't get honored on Mother's Day because "they had their time." It's not common in any of the places I've lived. Their adult children and sometimes even their grandchildren wish them a Happy Mother's Day, usually with a card and often with a gift. Second, Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 8th.
