I think you have definitely misunderstood natural. Ladies have evolved to have monthly cycles, can't get much more natural than that. Regardless of pregnancy, illness or death

Or just not having sex. Or using natural contraceptives, which have been around since medicine workers figured out what plants do. There have always been 'teas' that women take to prevent pregnancy. Or abort when they can't handle having another kid or mouth to feed. Yes, even back in ye olden days. Our human cycle is monthly. Some other mammals have seasonal cycles. Dogs have periods too. So do cats. Rabbits can self abort when there's not enough food around to carry a litter to term. Your understanding of what a 'natural state' is is very misconstrued.

I'm not talking about 100% of everything. It's just a generalisation. Which I would everybody with half a brain expect to recognize. Of course there were women experiencing menstruation l. And also puberty hit way later in life often at only about 15 years of age. So the vast majority of women only had to go through menstruation probably only 10-20 times in their fertile life span as opposed to 300-500 times today.
