What's your point? Yes, on rare occasions they can be healthy. That doesn't change the fact that they are more likely to have health problems and die in birth than other dog breeds.

But it's not a "claim" to say frenchies suffer from health problems. The vast majority of them do. Healthy French bulldogs are in the minority.

Yeah any breed can be healthy but certain breeds are affected by inbreeding more than others. Flat faced breeds like pugs and French bulldogs were specifically bred to look like that because it was seen as cute for them to look like that and honestly I don't understand why. You shouldn't breed an animal to have traits that are detrimental to their health just because you think it looks cute.

A lot of work to "our breed" an inbred breed lol. All power to them. Within reason. There's too many dogs in the world. While I'd take neither, I'd take a Frenchie over a pug any day

The same is true for the Merle color or light eyes. So the are breeding pets and they can't be akc registered.
