+32 Usage of steroids in the bodybuilding community must be legalised. amirite?

The problem is that its not fair. People who are completely healthy and have no intention to use steroids should not feel pressured because they stand no chance against other competitors that do.

That's already the case in body building. You have 0% chance in pro contests without doing steroids, HGH, Insuline and more.

Yeah I also forgot to mention that we could hold different competitions for those on steroids and those without steroids.

That would just pressure the guys in the steroid competitions to take more steroids so they have a better chance of winning

Look as long as people like the Rock claim they're natty, and people are not aware that that is impossible, fake Natties will exist, wetter steroids are illegal or not. There are plenty of drugs that aren't illegal "yet" but you're not a natty if you take them either.

The point of legalizing drugs is to allow people to get help if they need it instead of being imprisoned and spiraling. It's not to deal with your personal annoyance that people who illegally use drugs lie about it to seem more impressive than they are in some niche athletic community.

Yeah sure let's legalize everything. Then there would be no more people being arrested for those crimes

I agree but it's very sad

The fact that it's illegal (in the US at least) is incredibly archaic and weird. Should athletes be drug tested? Sure, if the association requires. But government involvement is simply unnecessary. All arises out of doping in baseball and a perceived need for intervention in "America's past time".
