Weird take. There being video proof of this, I think, is helping more people understand the severity of DV. Celebrity or not. It's easy to downplay things when you're not watching it right before you or experiencing it firsthand. And with the perpetrator being someone like Diddy, that level of power and status, it definitely is that deep.

It's only public because Diddy and Cassie are celebrities so of course it'll be on tv and social media. Some random girl in Idaho won't get public support about her abuse experience since her story isn't public and people don't know about it. But every person who has been abused by their partner does deserve support from their family and friends. I hope Cassie and other abuse victims are able to heal and live a happy life once they're away from their abuser.
