While I agree that Nintendo isn't the best game company, you can't say all the games are bad just because you didn't like 2/3 you tried. There are games like Wii Sports which will always be an iconic game. You also have to remember that they tend to be more directed at kids, so perhaps that could be part of why you didn't like them?

I don't think anyone is debating that Nintendo makes the best console. The thing is, Nintendo makes Nintendo games and you can't play them without emulators which is why people still buy it. Tbh I'm not really a big fan of Nintendo but the GameCube, n64, game boy and 3ds are a huge part of my childhood. And that's enough for me to recognize them as not the best gaming company, but an okay one. I own a switch lite I was gifted by my gf and literally only play smash bros. Your reasonings for your opinion is garbage though, but I agree it's not the best console.

Tbh I feel like most of us enjoy Mario games for nostalgia. When I've played recent ones they didn't have the same kick, but yet again I'm not 7 anymore. It's not that it's the best, it's what was available to us as kids, and probably what most our (millennial and older gen z kids) parents recognize as a console, hence why older people call everything "the Nintendo" (a joke but still)

Nintendo games are overrated overall, and Mario Odyssey is insultingly easy, way too easy to be fun, unless one is very easily entertained. There are two GREAT Mario games, but they were made by Ubisoft, and feature Rabbids.

So you play the standard 2D platformer, of which there are multiple... and then conclude that the racing games, 3D platformers, puzzle games, sports games, party games, rpgs, etc. are the same? Wait hold up. You are saying Mario games and Nintendo consoles are not supposed to be in the conversation for best franchise and console respectively because you play more stuff on PlayStation and xbox? Thats way worse. 'i dont know much about that stuff so its bad' is just such a common and stupid take on something.

I know I will get hate but Nintendo is targeted at a younger audience. They don't try to make the best console, 11 year old kids don't care about ram. Also, the best console is a PC.
