Well, knowing the format is itself the prerequisite of deeper knowledge. and that is exactly what standardize tests is supposed to look for. Think of that recent somebody who is incapable of following even the simple format of multiplication.

So true, I more or less went to school 50% or less of the time in HS and College and always scored great on my tests because I am a good test taker. I never even studied for the tests either.
