Sorry but this isn't really that unpopular of an opinion I think it is pretty close to 50/50 in terms of like and dislike with the Minions from people who have seen it

I agree. I kinda hate them. To me I feel like the despicable me movies represent some weird Hollywood agenda. Minions are little boys, disposable little monsters, the little girls are smarter and have a more hands on role and then gru is the loveable evil that trys stupidity to have importance and influence. All to influence kids into thinking cute little evil agendas are fun and acceptable and it's ok to condone or allow it to happen.
