What does this word "works" even mean here?

No wonder it isn't working for me!

Could be a whole lot of things. Simple burnout can do that to a person, and if you don't have any underlying conditions, that's a likely cause right there. If it's dependency you're struggling with, that could be rooted in some kind of anxiety (from my experience/observation). Or maybe you're simply putting too much pressure on yourself. If you get the chance, maybe all you need is to take time to ask yourself how you're doing and if there's any reason you've been undisciplined lately. I find that just asking myself questions helps me understand and take care of myself much better. But only you will know what works best for you!
