One example doesnt help your case People LOVE fortnite skins

Its a manufactured issue, because there could possibly be no real issue from cosmetic only items.

I personally hate when they make all the good looking cosmetics as microtransactions. And if you don't pay, you look like somebody who picked up random pieces of clothing lol.

Get that card out then

Those games usually end up becoming P2W in the end (MMORPG type anyway) So I usually don't get enough motivation in the game to spend money on it lol.

Most people don't mind cosmetic micro-transactions. I'm sure some people still don't particularly like them, but the hate is mostly for games that make you pay to be competitive. As an example, no one really complains about the Fortnite store selling skins. If you want to buy a cool skin, buy one. However, people always complain about the microtransactions in EA games (Battlefield, Madden) that you pretty much have to buy in order to play the game.

I never will buy them either, but I'm just saying I like when they are there because the money leaves dumby's pockets and go to the game developers and I'd rather them have more money then stupid people.

For FtP, I'd definitely prefer cosmetic microtransactions over ads.

If it's a free game I'm 100% okay with cosmetic microtransactions as long as they aren't too overpriced. But in a full priced game? No. Not even cosmetic. Because usually they don't stay cosmetic for long (also screw battlepasses. Seriously)

Micro transactions that make games pay-to-win are the issue. Cosmetic items are perfectly acceptable imo
