That's because day drinking seems to be more responsible. You at lunch with co workers or friends just slowly taking your time with a drink or 2. No one says let me pregame before breakfast. Night drinking it's this all out let me break my record of shots type vibe let me get loose as a goose type deal

I used to be a full blown alcoholic as a teen (started drinking at 7) and day drinking felt the worst for some reason

I hate drinking when the sun is out, it just feels weird. But I do wish that people got the party started at 7-8pm rather than like midnight. I don't mind going to bed at midnight, but I sure as hell don't want to go to bed at 4am. I'm not a heavy drinker or anything, just wishing it got busy earlier. I'm bored and waiting around anyway

I learned this about myself as well. I want to have fun but be done drinking so I can eat dinner and chug water and actually get sleep.
