I don't like Glen Powell (as an actor) amirite?

He feels like a composite sketch of what an attractive "All American" guy looks like but something just feels off about his face

He's genuinely too cartoonishly handsome to pull off a normal person. Him trying to play a nerdy professor In the hit man was a hilarious casting choice.

I agree with you, he is kinda overrated, for me he kinda looks like the average american actor, I dont find anything special in the way he acts/looks, like every time I am watching a movie of his I feel that I am not watching anything that can surprise me, I am just watching something to entertain me when I dont have much to do

You should watch Hitman he's amazing in it

While there's a push for diversity and changing up what it looks like to be a leading man I believe he's coming up as a favorite for many people that are a bit against it and want a Classic white American handsome man with a strong chin.

He's quite average imo. But then again I can't stand Benedict Cumberbach (sp)

Overrated, but maybe all he needs is a good written characters with a decent story. I dont think he's that good looking tho. A friend of mine hated timothee chalamet after watching wonka, said he looked malnourished and weird, then she watched cmbyn and beautiful boy, and let me tell you, no one made a 180° turn faster than her lol.

Certainly better than Tom Hanks

He reminds me of Luke Wilson. He shined in hit man because he was playing so many unbelievable characters. In maverick he was an ass and played it well. Have yet to see twisters but from the trailers, he is a cocky jerk.

If I said "think of the male lead in a big summer movie," more than likely, the guy is at least in his late 40s to early 50s. Even all the various actors named Chris are at least 40 or older. Timothée Chalamet and Tom Holland are in their 20s, but they're already tied to other franchises(and project as young men onscreen). If a studio wants someone to restart an action franchise, they're going to turn to Powell. Just like the movie studios tried their damndest to make Gerard Butler a movie star about 10-15 years ago, get ready to see Glen Powell get every role that Pedro Pascal doesn't.
