They're kind of annoying when they don't recognize that they got a massive head start in extremely competitive fields but many of them are talented and good at their jobs. That's all I really need from these people in entertainment. Political nepo babies are entirely different. I don't want dummies with powerful parents in charge of anything important

Some nepobabies do have genuine talent and deserve to be in the position they're in, others don't. With that said, nepobabies who do deserve to be in the position they are in still have had an unfair advantage in getting to that position. One of the few nepobabies I have a lot of respect for is Jack Quaid because he's completely honest and transparent about the fact he's a nepobaby, he's also talented enough to deserve to be in the position he's in. He has gone on record saying that he knows he wouldn't have had the opportunities he's had if not for his famous father. The fact he's honest about his situation and not trying to dishonesty present himself as 100% "self made" makes me have a lot of respect for the guy. The complete opposite of that would be Jayden Smith.

If we lived in a monarchy would this be acceptable? We want democracy but this prince accepts he's in a privileged position so it's all gonna be cool when his dad dies and he becomes king. I don't disagree that he's talents as are many others, but so many people miss out because of these people and the simple reason is that they aren't connected.

It does suck I 100% agree. It does feel a bit unfair and hypocritical that some people are vilified for their nepotism and people would gladly do anything in their power to throw them off their pedestal yet are happy to bury their heads in the sand and say "this is fine" for nepotism in another area.

It's also funny he's going after actors because I can't really think of many nepobaby actors or can't act. Like most of the ones I can think of do a good job in the role so what's the problem. Other than Jayden Smith.

I agree. Maya Hawke is great. I love Mariska Hargitay, I'm not a huge Miley Cyrus fan but she's definitely talented. I can easily come up with more that have talent than that don't.

I think truly it's because they're not really nepobabies in the traditional sense. If you're a working actor getting gigs you have some talent. Obviously they all got a foot in the door through family ties but movies are for the public. People want to watch movies with decent acting.
