As a man who has experienced domestic violence, I understand the harsh reality that men can also be victims of such abuse. Despite the trauma I've endured, society often overlooks male victims, focusing instead on the stereotype that only women can suffer from domestic violence. Adding to this, I already contribute more in taxes because of my higher wages. This situation highlights not only the financial burden but also the emotional and societal challenges male victims face, making it even more crucial to recognize that domestic violence affects everyone, regardless of gender.

That is called discrimination, and is generally viewed poorly

We already have this tax. Fines and labour in prison is pretty much it. And it makes sense because you "tax" specifically the people who causes these problems for society. In the same way that "taxes" for alcohol and smoking target specifically smokers and drinkers. In the same way car owners pay road tax, at least in my country. I don't want to pay for the roads that i personally don't use. I don't want to pay for the problems caused by drinkers. And i don't want to pay for the problems caused by criminals, while not being a criminal myself. It's that simple.

Men may cause most violence, but most men are not violent, so it's unfair to tax them all for the minority who are.

I'm pretty sure people causing more violence would be very peaceful with more taxes

Im curious to see how this works in your mind. OP, what is the 10% to be applied to, and how will this be monitored to only apply to "men"? What age will the tax become affective, and will there be loopholes to avoid it?

Lol in my country we went a step further. We tax all childfree people! Don't have kids? Pay more for other's kids!
