YT is better than Spotify, amirite?

I have no problem at all playing the specific song I want on Spotify. I have no ads. Spotify has mixes and you can create "stations" based on a song or artist. I can skip and repeat songs as many times as I want. What's the point of comparing free Spotify to paid YT? Is this guerilla marketing for YT?

Yes, of course you have to compare apples to apples. Comparing YouTube premium to Spotify free is like comparing a free massage from your 3yo vs a paid masseuse at a clinic.

Unless you are really into music, then you can't really hear the difference, or you don't care enough. I personally think the quality of the music is great, you make it sound like it's been compressed to hell and back.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you there. If only because since I have been using Spotify (roughly 7 years and in several countries), I have had zero issues looking for any and all music I want. I have premium so no adds, unlimited skips and all that good stuff. I can also use Spotify in my car and any other device, which I am unsure of if YT Music will work.

100%, especially for finding live DJ sets for those who listen to EDM, you're not getting those on Spotify. Even more so because some of them are so well produced, you want to watch them as well as listen to them.
