Not a ton of people? He consistently pulled multiple millions on every video. He made millions doing this

I honestly don't know why anyone gives that gaslighting, manipulative asshole the light of day.

I sort of disagree in a way. Weight loss like his is way more attainable and common now with glp-1 agonist meds (like ozempic). What makes him stand out is that he planned and orchestrated hiding it from the internet for two years and releasing only backlog videos, which isnt as impressive so much as...a little alarming? Like he's sort of manipulative? Like it's something lots of people could do...but who is psychopathic enough to do it?

It was is just performance art. He re-recited the exact same two steps ahead/ant speech he gave ages ago. Word for word. I'm sure there will be a weight loss journey series available on his Patreon/OF.

Who

by Terrible-Pie 11 months ago

My theory is that it was a Hollywood grade fat suit this entire time and he's actually Andy Kaufman.

Whenever anything WTF happens in life, you can pretty much instantly restore a feeling that everything still makes sense by convincing yourself "it was actually Andy Kaufman." It's always the most direct route to "oh, that explains everything."

The 'Ah, it's Kaufman philosophy.' Saves a lot of time.

i don't get the "social experiment" part of it. it obviously wasn't something that he planned beforehand; he just gained an obscene amount of weight and realized it would kill him if he kept going. he prerecorded some videos, which a lot of youtubers do, despite not having a main channel video for 7 months since this reveal. so he took ozempic and didn't get seen in public for a while it's not that impressive.

I think to do it at all is commendable. Whether he records or earns any money off it is irrelevant. This man was the idol of many obese people he influenced. And now he's shown you can shed all of that. It's going to move the needle in one way or another. I think he would have benefitted more by not doing anything. So nonetheless, I give him props.
