Well that's not what I think but that's okay

Lose yourself to me was always this sort of epic underdog story, I think that's why it's so loved, and popular, combined with the fact it was on the soundtrack for his movie. Just lose it is a silly song, not a bad one by any means, it just lacks the story behind it, it's just more goofy and fun

That's a great analogy! I personally think just lose it is better, but that's just me!

Thank you!

Totally get what you mean with lose yourself. It's Eminem's pop song up to that point. And arguably the last bright shining light befor what I fell is a decline. But that decline took us to just lose it soooooo...

Eminem is garbage

Lose Yourself is nowhere near Eminem's best song. His earlier work like Criminal, The Real Slim Shady, and Kill You are far better. Also don't sleep on Rap God. Very fun and light hearted but unbelievably good.

I just think Eminem is generally pretty overrated as a rapper, I guess that's an unpopular opinion of mine. He's corny, he's more interested in making his bars rhyme than he is making them good. There are just so many better rapper than Eminem, I find it pretty mind boggling that lots of people really have him in the best of all time conversation. Not even close imo.

I keep up with most of the songs from Encore. I played the whole album on repeat when it came out. I delivered pizza for 2 places 7 days a week between them, so it was a lot. The ones I don't like are: Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, We as Americans, and Ricky Ticky Toc I'll listen to them, but they just are meh imo. And Lose Yourself is great but way overplayed.
