No, this is just actually true. They're garbage. Albanese brand is king
by Own_Philosopher_55286 months ago
Came here to say this, also protip I've found albanese will make gummy bears for other brands that sell for cheaper. (Was 7/11s go to brand for a while) just look for the A on their tummy!

Exactly what I came here to say Albanese are the undeniable best gummy candy
by Anonymous6 months ago
I'm addicted to Albanese gummies and I don't even like sweets

If im reaching for anything Haribo it's the peaches they're amazing but other than that it's all about the Albanese gummies

assuming they are the same flavour as the heart ones (never had paches themselfs i think) they are one of the worse gummies i have tried, not just haribo, overall. i love the jely worms and now the jelçly frogs, they are even better than the worms, fini does it best

Unpopular for a reason
by Anonymous6 months ago
Don't know why, but haribo makes my teeth hurt a lot. I'm fine with any other gummies tho

But have you tried them soaked in vodka? They're no longer too tough, but rather sloppy, sticky, messy, smelly, only really edible with a spoon, and much more awful then usual :)
by Anonymous6 months ago
i usualy do vodka soaked in gummies, not the other way around :)
by Anonymous6 months ago
Honestly, yeah, I agree. Albanese are where it's at. I eat A LOT of gummi bears and the softness of the Albanese is just...oh it's, so choice.

Not sure if it's an American opinion or not, but US gummy products are far superior to European/Haribo style gummies. They're always far too tough to chew, Americans have nailed the art of gummy candy.
by Akeem196 months ago
Why do they have so much fame? Because they are the original. They've been around for literally a century. People grew up eating them, and now they're nostalgia.
by Anonymous6 months ago
Im 31 and always ate gummies, i would understand that for people 50+, but those ones, in my copuntry, wouldnt haver gummies available to buy when they were kid. thats not the reason, atleast here
by Anonymous6 months ago
Agreed, they have no flavor. I don't know what other people see in them
by Anonymous6 months ago
haribo is gummies for people who dont like gummies, so me and you will never know what is to be like that, THANKS GOD
by Anonymous6 months ago
I like Haribos, but I find them extremely firm and difficult to chew. Albanese gummy bears are superior.
by Anonymous6 months ago
Albanese gummies are the undeniable best
by Anonymous6 months ago
Fleet Farm gummies ftw
by Anonymous6 months ago
I find their gummy bears too hard and chewy but I'll still eat them. I like Albanese because they're softer but my bf prefers haribo. Everyone just has different preferences. He also likes to put his gummies in the fridge which makes them even harder though.

I finally found blue gummy sharks with beef gelatin after looking for years. I'm anaphylactic to pork so no Albanese for me.
by Anonymous6 months ago
That's what I've been saying. Haribo tastes like Hairyballs
by Anonymous6 months ago
Fizzy colas are THE BEST
by oaufderhar6 months ago
They really are awful. I like some of their stuff just not the gummy bears. I got sour ones recently and they were completely tasteless and I've never had COVID so it's not something like I wouldn't taste it.
