Some react channels are bad yeah, just gotta find good ones. I personally love musical reactions, like certain YouTubers react to rap or musical soundtracks and explain all the notes, pitches, double entendres, etc. it's really interesting. Game reactions are good too like Daz games is a personal favourite.

Part of being a good parent is exposing your kids to good media. They're dumb rookies at life and their taste is obviously trash. And that reflects on you. At least find the good reaction channels and encourage them to watch those. And if they see you enjoying it and getting hyped up and trying to get them hyped up, they'll love it, too.

Disagree. I just get a kick out of seeing people enjoy things that I also like. And, some reactors are genuinely funny and/or entertaining. I honestly don't think enough about them to think if they're fake or not.

I like a few film and series react channels. It's like having a speed-run through my favourite movies and shows, it's nice to see people discover them for the first time, and occasionally one of them might say something insightful that I haven't picked up on in my likely multiple viewings of whatever it is.

they're not genuine A) How do you know? B) Who cares? If they don't feel 'genuine' to you and you don't like watching them... don't watch them. Just because your kids are watching these channels doesn't mean you have to. It's good to be involved and keeping an eye on what your kids are into but if you hate it that much I guarantee forcing yourself to sit through it isn't doing your kids any favors. Just do something else or make them watch on their phones or something.

They've been hated on forever. The real unpopular opinion is liking the ones people started complaining about almost a decade ago (BlastphamousHD, ImDontai, Jinx. You get the idea iykyk) Now the fake react channels that just make long ass tiktoks are actually bad

I'm with you on watching stuff with my kid just to make my kid happy. But if I can listen to CCR or something instead of the Bubble Guppies...that's a win in my book. I don't care that they aren't genuine.
