Same with apple cider I first did it for my kid and now i do the same for mine 60apple 40water or 5050

It used to be saltier and more watery back in the 1970's. Over the years they've boosted the sugar and flavor, and reduced the electrolytes that used to give it that unique Gatorade flavor. Gatorade used to be good.

Dang did not know that.

I know this. Because I used to hate Gatorade. Especially the original yellow one. It was a bit more tangy, or sour and had a really mild bitterness to it.

I just drink G2. Regular gatorade is like drinking Pepsi to me.

Getting harder and harder to find.

G is everywhere even costco, G2 on the other hand is like finding a piece of hay in a needle stack. You know you gotta look, but you don't want to because it hurts (not finding it lol)

You can buy boxes of the powder at any grocery store.

Not at mine - only one of the ones in my area has it, and they don't have it every time. I have ordered it online, though.

Plain Water tastes better than not only watered down Gatorade, but full strength Gatorade as well.

Gatorade Zero Sugar is actually where it's at. It's not nearly as syrupy as regular Gatorade, just kind of tastes like flavored water. I started drinking it a few years ago, and after bringing it up in conversation, I found out half my buddies do as well. I refuse to buy regular Gatorade now.

Why would plants want gatorade?

by trevorleuschke 7 months ago

Brawndo's got what plants crave - it's got electrolytes

Costco? Yea I couldn't believe it myself. Luckily my dad was an alumnus and pulled some strings.

It's got electrolytes.

by CelebrationTimely 7 months ago

What else would they want? Water? Like out the toilet?

by Anonymous 7 months ago

Just buy G2?

I'd put fruit punch on the list too.

by Few-Steak3591 7 months ago

I guess it would but then again I think tap water tastes better than Gatorade

by josue08 7 months ago

Really? Even fresh?

by aiyana38 7 months ago

Thats a sin

by Anonymous 7 months ago

I was going to say just the opposite, I agree with OP. I get the powder and water it down slightly Either way, buy the powder, it's same taste for wayyy cheaper

by Anonymous 7 months ago

Same! It's so much more refreshing diluted. Powder is the way to go.

by Big_Focus 7 months ago

This is so true though. I do half and half 🤷‍♀️

Has anyone tried gatorlyte? It's saltier and less sweet

I've found that the white label (sugar free) Powerades are the best thirst quenchers. They go down silky smooth, unlike the almost sour taste of full blown Gatorade.

by westanibal 7 months ago

Back when I used to race dirt bikes I would cut it 50/50 in my Camelback. My stomach couldn't handle straight Gatorade when you're really going hard for two hours or more.

by vicentehowe 7 months ago

The best Gatorade is the G zero. The full sugar ones feel like they leave a film on the inside of your mouth.

by Best_Firefighter_985 7 months ago

It's the only way to drink Prime.

Same with soda for me. Not colas, but sprite, even Fanta taste better watered down.
