I still have my console and there are times I want to play, just haven't powered it up in roughly a year. Prior to that if I wanted to play once in a while there'd be so many updates that the moment passes and I never ended up getting to play. I miss the days of popping a disc in and just playing.

So you finished San Andreas in a few days and left it? No side missions, collectibles, or replaying the story? And you complained that you had to wait two (2!) whole years to play it? Maybe GTA is just not the right game for you if your attention span is that bad.

I was thinking the same thing. TES 6, GTA 6.. hell even book 6 from ASOIAF. We're all bored, and tbh I've also lost interest in most of them. Didn't care when Starfield came out just cos of the long dev cycle, didn't really care about HoTD cos of the same thing… I doubt I will care about TES 6 or TWoW if it ever comes out at this stage.

I play current titles but I've still restarted and played through GTA V at least once a year for the past six or seven years. The wait for VI has been frustrating but I'll still be buying it on day one.

I'll decide if I care once it's released. There is a real risk that the franchise might abandon the satirical nature of GTA V, and gear more towards mass marketing of microtransactions just like GTA Online did. Tho I am starting to grow out of gaming regardless due to age and lack of time, I don't even have a up to date gaming PC anymore which would be capable of running the game.
