Warm apple pie with a slice of melted cheddar is amazing. Try it this thanksgiving, amirite?

My dad used to say "Apple pie without cheese is like a hug without a squeeze" Try a sunny egg on it for breakfast, it's next level!

There are recipes that include adding cheddar in the crust before baking. I've tried it and it's pretty good.

Yes I did forget about those recipes and those people just can't wrap their heads around it

Cheese and apple is a common combination here in the UK you would find a fair amount of people agree with you

That's how my grandma served it. People look at me like I'm insane when I say it.

This is an very popular dish. Not unpopular at all- it's one of the main ways to serve apple pie
by Anonymous7 months ago
Really where Everytime I bring it up I get weird looks and called crazy

Please Americans, this is the second time in less than an hour that I've seen a horrible food idea on unpopular opinion for Thanksgiving, make an effort 😭
by Johnschristian7 months ago
Why is it a horrible idea?
by Anonymous7 months ago
Mixing cheese and fruit is rarely a good idea, even if I don't like it, apples go better with Camembert, or pears with Roquefort. After that I exaggerate, these are cheeses that are difficult to access in the United States and can be hard to digest. But that's just my opinion of course, do as it pleases you

It's common to serve apple slices with cheddar cheese on like a charcuterie board here. It's really a great combo if you like cheddar
by Anonymous7 months ago
Also I'm jealous of your cheese options haha

For me I'm on long island I wouldn't say they are difficult to find but definitely not as common
