Honestly, you may just be burnt out of games... You said you were bored with normal PS5 stuff so that why you tried Skyrim, but Skyrim isnt really a boring game (unless you spent 3 hours going in the wrong directions) so imo it's more likely that you're just a bit burnt out of games. Skyrim isn't a perfect game and some parts of it are annoying and boring - but the first 3 hours certainly shouldnt be boring...

If OP mean Persona 5 instead of Playstation 5 then OP better should switch to another genre for a while.

If they meant Persona 5, they'd say P5 instead of PS5.

"I played Red Dead Redemption 2 for 3 hours to see what all the fuss was about and it was literally just walking through snow then riding a wagon with nothing happening. Clearly this means the rest of the game is like this so I bailed. No thanks!"

To be fair I feel like the early hours of vanilla Skyrim are the best, everything is fresh. Once you do enough quests is the same basic mechanics over and over again

Exploration is also kinda uninteresting due to there being a big quest marker for basically every little thing. And while you can disable it, the entire game is built around it, so getting rid of it often means you have less sense of direction than Elden Ring.

Yeah, I don't want to have to cut my hair and wash my horse. Also the combar mechanism was so f'n annoying. I reallt couldn't see what all the fuss was about.

Think of it as an adventure cosy game that came out the same time as game of thrones.

Skyrim is one of those games that only becomes horrible in hindsight. The first playthrough back in 2011 was magical for so many people, me included, but looking back at vanilla Skyrim from a more detached perspective, it's easy to see how poorly made it actually is. I think Bethesda nailed the presentation so hard the actual game itself was cloaked.

I feel the elder scrolls is one of those game which whatever one you start with is the one you like. I started with elder scrolls oblivion and loved it but when Skyrim came out I didn't get any joy from it and felt boring.

I really love archery and werewolf in skyrim. Can admit if it didn't have those two things I'd have dropped it and never looked back.

Very funny opinion. I put like 150 hours into skyrim and did not get even halfway through the main questline. Very enjoyable to me but I can see how you'd get bored if you were trying to stick to the main questline instead of gallivanting off to every corner of the map and getting killed by Literally Everything.

try the old school Dwarf Fortress.

Maybe it's just not your type or you are burnt out bro, the game may be the best thing ever, but you'll still not enjoy if you feel forced and tired, take a break and return when you feel better

Ok. Wow, you dislike a video, so unpopular
