Burritos are far better than tacos. amirite?

Aren't burritos more popular overall by a large amount? I agree with you but I don't think it's an unpopular opinion.

Tacos are more of a meme. Probably better photo op (they are better looking than just a wrapped tortilla lol). But there can be no debate. Burritos are superior unless you are in Mexico. Then for some reason the burritos suck

Why one or the other? Burritos are great, but only if you trust the restaurant already. Tacos let you try a wide variety of what the restaurant has to offer without committing to what might be a huge mistake

Different ingredients typically. Corn vs flour tortillas. Burritos don't have cilantro or onion. A lot have cheese while proper tacos don't. They're not the same at all

Had plenty of burritos with cilantro and onion but I kind of get what you're saying. I think the biggest difference is burritos have a lot more carb filler like rice and beans when tacos tend to be more meat heavy.

Rice and beans in burritos is rarely done where I live (southern California) but I grew up in the bay area where it's done a lot. I'll occasionally ask for rice in a carne asada burrito if I feel like it. Normally they're just carne asada, guac, and pico

Definitely agree to that. Never eaten burritos from central CA tho. All hail the very un-mexican cali burrito though. Fries are the superior carbon filling imo

Hell yeah one day I'll do that. Idk if you're interested but I just started following a guy on Instagram who is going to every state and trying their tacos. Goes by the.taco.fiend1 I think he's in Utah by now and so far he's found some good spots outside cali. I'm waiting to see how it goes once he gets farther away from cali for the border in general

I'd give the slight edge to tacos but depends on what I want at the time. At sit down restaraunts I will usually get a nice big burrito or if i wanna drop a bit more maybe fajitas but love taquerias tacos

I can agree with this one. Just because of my love for pitas. I'd rather order the seasoning mix for tacos than pay for the kits. Fresh veggies and whatever go to spice
