I kind of agree in that good stubble requires your beard to be pretty thick, and most men don't have that level of thickness in their facial hair. But even bad stubble doesn't look nearly as bad as you're making it out to be

I self identify as being at my most handsome with 3 to 7 days stubble. Below 3, I can strike matches, over 7 goes from scruffy to homeless v. quickly

I look like a rough early 20s without at least stubble, I keep a tidy beard most of the time but sowmtimes shave down to a 1-2 (long stubble) and quite like the scruffy look it gives me. Sometimes people like to look a certain way without it mattering what you think about their appearance 🤷‍♂️

That would be Mads Mikkelsen, the other two, while not my type at all, are the only good examples of stubble I can think of.
