Depends on your type. I think she's hot. She's almost androgynous, which isn't everyone's cup of tea. Her talent and energy is her forte. I don't think her focal point in a given role is to deliver sex appeal - the role of Elphaba certainly doesn't require that.

Different strokes, right? She has a certain appeal to be sure, but it's not especially appealing to me. For example her hair. As a black woman, she is explicit about her short hair, whereas so so many would wear wigs or elaborate extensions as a rule. I personally don't favor baldness. Whatever. Then again, she doesn't NEED to be appealing for li'l old me. I'd say she is objectively more attractive than my conventional self. And it's not my place to judge her general attractiveness under any circumstances.

Fr that's always where I land too. My ugly ass can't judge anyone. Having said that I think its nice that we can have people on TV who aren't a cardboard cutout of a hot woman/man and allow people to appreciate their unique beauty - without all having to agree. We spent a long time only wanting 10s on our screens for some reason.
