I'm fine with someone disagreeing about his acting prowess (even if i disagree) by what's this about him being a weirdo?

his stance on the MeToo movement: "It's very difficult to do that if there are certain rules in place. Because then it's like: 'Well, I don't want to go up and talk to her, because I'm going to be called a rapist or something." lets not forget he dated a 19-year-old and Gina Carano, so his standards for women are definitely weird.

19 year old is off age and free to do what they want. And dating Carano is fine. She has done mistakes but she has the right for a romantic life still, doesn't she?

I think James Bond, as a theatrical concept, is no longer viable. We're continually trying to shoe-horn spy concepts from the 1960's and 70's into the 2020's and they just don't apply anymore. So queue the never-ending upping of the stakes until it's just absurd and would actually be handled by an entire multi-country task force of thousands of people.

Honestly this is pretty spot on. They keep continuing and they're just going to satirize themselves like Fast and the furious whatever we're on now. Remember when that was cool, instead of making jokes at its own expense because even the characters don't understand how they've kept it going so long and are talking about their own plot armor and driving cars in space? I'm not sure what the bond equivalent of driving cars in space is, but I feel like they're gonna hit it soon.

I do agree with you but not for the reasons you think. Cavill is a very good actor and would do a tremendous job as a traditional Bond. But I don't want a traditional Bond. I'd like to see the franchise go in an original direction. No I don't know what that is. But I do know that a thirst-trap spy driving fancy cars, with vodka and watch product placements and taking down a super-villain out to destroy the world is ridiculously boring at this point.

And Daniel Craig was any better? Come on now. At least Cavill have the charm to play Bond unlike the rugged Craig that is nothing like the traditional charming lady's man that is Bond.
