+44 Sean Evans, host of Hot Ones, doesn't eat the hottest sauce every episode, amirite?

by Anonymous 4 months ago

The more you eat hot stuff, the more used to it your body gets. This is why people in some countries can regularly handle REALLY hot stuff. They've been eating since childhood.

It's true: I once went to lunch at a Vietnamese soup place with this guy from Sichuan China. You know those little chilies most people put 2-3 in to make the soup a bit spicier? This guy proceeds to put scoop after scoop of them in his soup and down it like nothing.

I still don't believe it. Hence my unpopular opinion

by Anonymous 4 months ago

It's not an "unpopular opinion", it's just wrong.

You don't know if he's eating regular wings or not. It's not a fact. It's an opinion

by Anonymous 4 months ago

There has been some episodes where the person he's interviewing doesn't believe they have the same wings so they swap boards, turns out they're the same wings 🤯

Explain India

by Anonymous 4 months ago

That last line should be on a t-shirt haha

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I can't

by Anonymous 4 months ago

this isn't an opinion

by Anonymous 4 months ago

No, YOU think about. They shoot probably once a month and he only needs to take a bite, it's literally no big deal. People eat hot sauce every day.

by Nearby-Bad 4 months ago

😂 no YOU think about it

by Anonymous 4 months ago

You haven't tried this yourself over a long stretch of time. If you'd done that, you'd know that Sean can do what he does, which is eat the hottest sauce every time.

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Have you?

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Have I tried increasingly hot sauces over a long period of time? Yes. So have a lot of other long time Hot Ones fans. You build up a tolerance and can handle spices better. Even your "output" gets easier over time. Yes, this is from my own personal experience.

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Nice. When we talk handle.. are we saying gut health and what comes out of you too?

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Yes. What comes out of you too. You learn to handle that better. From these experiences, I have no doubt that Sean authentically tries all the sauces every time. He's learned to handle them better than anyone.

by Anonymous 4 months ago

This is neither an opinion nor unpopular, it's just a non-factual statement

by IntroductionSalt6600 4 months ago

I disagree with your opinion

by Anonymous 4 months ago

"I disagree that I don't have the facts in spite of Sean switching wings with people and showing that I am wrong."

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I ingest sauce that is at the same level as the Last Dab almost daily and there are no negative effects

by mohamed78 4 months ago

Respect to you sir / madam. You have a stomach made of iron

by Anonymous 4 months ago

An uninformed AND unpopular opinion!

by Esteltromp 4 months ago

Haha love this

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I eat what he does on a regular basis. It's not what you think. Some people have it, some people don't.

by madonnakrajcik 4 months ago

It's called tolerance. Getting used to it. Like, how I can out-drink a man twice my size, because I've been binging on alcohol for 20+ years straight.

by This_Manner 4 months ago

Repetition usually acclimatizes the body. This should be common knowledge. OP are you okay?

by Anonymous 4 months ago

I have trust issues with people specifically named Sean. I'll get it checked

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Yea same, Sean is prounced seen in my books.

by Anonymous 4 months ago

Reading this laughing because I eat Flatline: The End daily, which has 6M-7M SUs. I'm excited to try to 30M when released. This isn't an unpopular opinion as much as it is ignorance due to not having tried and built tolerance it oneself to know it's totally doable.

Confirmation bias. Your bland 1% milk drinking palate gets the squirts when they forget to order their burrito extra mild so you assume everyone else is the same way
