Nope! Walter was offered to have his healthcare paid for very early on in the series, which he refused. In the final episode he admitted he did all of what he did for him. This is repeatedly reiterated throughout the show.

This is a very popular but incorrect take. Walt was offered the money for his treatment through 2 seperate avenues and declined because of his pride.

The show would have also ended if Walt took the offer from Elliott and Gretchen. But that's the point, Walt wasn't doing it for his family, he was doing it for himself.

This isn't true, Walt's initial motivation for selling meth was so his family would have money after he died, they were relatively broke even without paying for his treatment and as a teacher he did have coverage, but he did not intend on going through the treatment at first, and only used his drug money to pay for extra special treatment. And ignoring all of that, Gretchen and Elliot offered him a job and to pay for his treatment in season 1, but his pride got in the way, and the allure of his first cook brought him back to the game.

...yes? That's one of the points of the show. You cannot just pick up most narratives and move them to another location without making serious changes to them. That's how stories work. If Walt was in another country there would have had to be a wholly different inciting incident.
