Burst rifle weapons are the worst category of weapons in games, amirite?
by Anonymous2 months ago
That one burst kill was OP. Impossible to go back to beginner weapons after

The purple lasers, so good

True, but I'd rather have the br over the ar in halo. And some people are nuts with the br and could beat almost anyone except a sniper. It does depend on the game. I've always looked at them as a tough learning curve but worth the practice

Once you play a game like PUBG you'll realize how much you actually don't mind them.

Honestly I prefer burst fire, long as you're accurate they kill really fast with no recoil.

Nah, I want my bad juju back. Early destiny was peak.

That thing was a beast.

Was obviously not a Halo 2 player. The BR55 shredded heads.

I hate single fire but only cause I play on console. I'm not bad but it just kills your finger.

FAMAS MW2 These mean nothing to you but for a moment in time it was king.
by Anonymous2 months ago
Oh I was there, and yes it was amazing. Exception to the rule.

They're my favourite thing in FPS games
by Anonymous2 months ago
Yeah, sounds like a skill issue.

That depends entirely on the game. Something like this is what I think of when I think of Burst Rifles. No clue what kind of game you played where you "have to wait another business day to fire the thing again".

Need tracer bullet

I like the on in Left for Dead but that's about it. I prefer being able to control hiw many bullets I fire usually
by alphonsolesch2 months ago
I usually don't prefer them, but in Remnant and I think Cyberpunk, I liked one a lot

Big agree. Hate burst weapons

I tend to burst fire the fully auto weapons manually in games just like I would in real life. Squeeze off a few rounds slight pause to allow the weapon to settle back to where it needs to be, then squeeze off a few more. What I dislike about burst fire in games is it tends to just be all the rounds hit or all the rounds miss. No in between. While auto just chews through ammo and the recoil just makes every encounter spray and pray.

Burst fire mechanism suck in real life too. A lot of them such as the one famously on the M16 do not reset the count of three if you shoot less than three bullets. So if you shoot just one or two bullets and say semi-auto and switch over to three round burst You're not guaranteed to get an actual three round burst depending on where the three round burst mechanism is.

COD 4 M16 says otherwise
by Mitchelladalber2 months ago
you probably just suck. burst fire is best to preserve accuracy and ammo
