I do agree that I find men who dress sloppier (hoodies, sweats, muddy/paint covered jeans) way more attractive than guys who really put effort into their appearance. I'm not saying that's right, or even fair of me, but it's absolutely a matter of preference. Not everyone is turned on by the whole corporate businessman look, so I get it. I'd choose a guy that looks like he's from the hood over a businessman or a frat boy any day, attraction is weird. Any form of clean cut just isn't for me.

Suits need to be tailored properly to look that kind of "good". Casual clothes leave more room for personality to glow through. The style of jacket and the way somebody wears it radiates a lot more personal flair than the pattern on someone's tie. Fair shot that we've also grown past the illusion that every asshole with shiny shoes isn't rolling in "put a baby in me" money.

Suits and tuxedos look awful. I have always hated them. Everyone pretends suits look classy but they just look stuffy and uncomfortable. That makes me feel icky looking at it. It must be hot and restrictive and it just looks awful.

Style ever changes. Suits are slowly but surely becoming a thing of the past. Best proof for that is the whole IT business branch. But in high class they'll always remain, ofc. Yet more lax, and different.

Suits are only worn to portray a certain image to others... which is that the man wearing it is totally willing to endure the discomfort of polyester and/or wool in order to impress. 😅 In chilly weather, a hoodie under a peacoat is the most gorgeous. Talking Bartleby in "Dogma".
