This makes 0% sense to me. When someone says "100%" to something, they're just agreeing. It's the same as saying something like "I concur" or "I agree wholeheartedly" or "correct". Do you require nuance with those too?

Agree 100%.

You complain about them sounding like they have a limited vocabulary, then go on to say you want to limit their vocabulary further by removing certain terms from it?

Gotta love logical inconsistencies!

I 100% disagree with this.

I'm personally 100% on the fence about this

Is it because it reminds you of math, which makes you go: "HRRRRRRRRRRRNGGGG, KNOWLEDGE BAAAAAD!" ?

He started his response to four of the five questions with "100%" are unable to add nuance to what they are attempting to communicate. I assume he said something following the "100%." So, I don't really get how you think they're unable to add nuance. Would you have the same gripes with another agreement starting the sentence? "Yes" followed by the rest?

It's a weird affectation, I agree, sort of on the same level as starting all your statements with "Let me tell you..."

"y'all" is way worse

Tf is wrong with y'all, it's a great word.

Wrong.

IMO it gets a lot of undue hate (typically rooted in racism or classism), but it fills a niche in the english language not otherwise well served. We don't really have a great second person plural pronoun (you could use you as plural but I've found it's more confusing than it's worth in everyday convos), and y'all and "you guys" fills the niche.

Ivy League educated snobby annoying AH right here, and I use "y'all" all the time. It's an excellent word that is imbued with a lot of meaning and is useful in so many contexts.
