Well I can agree that paying $16 for a pack of 3 socks you do not like is indeed stupid. But not the socks' fault.

Noone is making you sleep in them so that's no reason yo hate them. I rarely lose socks, not sure what you're doing yo lose so many it's become an issue for you.

I knit my own socks. I love socks. Not itchy, sweaty or uncomfortable. I gotta say tho, you are buying the wrong socks, yours are crazy expensive, and not even comfortable. Maybe try some other socks. Or knit your own.

Me too! It's a skin sensitivity/texture. However I get cold toes easily. But being cold is better than wearing socks. Slippers are my friend. I often go barefoot in shoes and think Crocs are pretty great

There's something called douvet. Not sure if you've heard of it. You use it to cover your body and stay warm while you sleep. Alternatively you could even use a Blanket.
