If they're having safe sex they won't get pregnant. And they're more likely to be safe at home. Good parents won't just let their kids do it at home, they'll teach kids all about safe sex and even buy or fund contraception. Parenting teenagers is about teaching, encouraging, and enabling good decisions, not attempting to control decisions because that rarely works anyway.

In my 30s and you'd definitely be surprised to know how much of what OP said is true. So many people moved back with their parents during the pandemic and still got their freak in their parents house. Im surrounded by white, Asian, Latino, and Middle Eastern (mostly Persian) communities where this happened.

I feel like young folks have got very prudish about sex, as if it's something that must be hidden and that parents must not know about. Not that you have to do this every time, but if your parents don't get the hint, then you can offer to send them out on a date so you and your partner can have alone time. They'll figure it out pretty quick and start to do it on their own.
