A burrito is just a soft shell taco not its own food, amirite?

If you fold a pizza, it becomes a calzone. This is not unpopular, it is not supported by reality.

This is what I was thinking. A taco is an open face burrito, like a pizza is an open face calzone, or a chili size is an open face chili burger.

The difference I think would be you can't fold a pizza and it is just a calzone. Since calzones edges are baked together. But a burrito is just a soft shell taco that's got some extra folds

I was thinking something similar, tacos tend to be small enough to eat in a few bites, 1 burrito should be a meal on its own, it's also much more portable and you can easily eat it on the go.

Technically a taco is just a burrito with an exoskeleton. Tacos evolved from burritos, not the other way around.

"A flat bread" sandwich implies that there is something sandwiched between two layers, or am I getting that wrong. A calzone, which is also a form of pizza, however, might also then be considered a sandwich... This is getting too deep
