+46 Grey sweatpants should be considered inside clothes, amirite?

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

You ever seen tight yoga pants?

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Yes, my beef is mainly with the sloppy part

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

So lingerie in public is fine, since it's not sloppy?

by watersmicheal 1 month ago

as long as it isnt gray!!!

by Anonymous 1 month ago

I'm trying to think if I've ever seen Heather grey lingerie.

by brendon27 1 month ago

there are actually some cute grey lingerie options on AdoreMe and savagex, but theyre too sloppy so thats a shame for people who dont want to look awful in them :/

by Anonymous 1 month ago

yoga pants arent lingerie, tf are you on?

by Safe-Adeptness 1 month ago

They weren't saying that. OP stated that their only issue with the sweatpants was the sloppiness not the revealing nature. So the person was taking it to the next step but they're only issue is with how sloppy something looks then they wouldn't have a problem with lingerie as long as it wasn't sloppy.

by denesikjohnatho 1 month ago

To be fair, OP said mainly, not entirely. I still disagree with OP

by North-Cantaloupe2028 1 month ago

Nobody said anything about yoga pants being lingerie? They just said their problem was with sloppy, so I took it to its logical extreme.

by watersmicheal 1 month ago

What about other baggy types of pants? I'm fond of loose pants that flare and hide the shape and motion of my legs. Easy to move in and cool and comfortable in the heat.

by Fantastic_Treat 1 month ago

Why don't you go around in anything less than a suit or a dress down to your ankles? Your jeans are sloppy and it looks awful…wait let's go back further…why don't you wear a powdered wig when you go out in public? Showing anything less is uncivilized.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

That's isn't the point

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

No, but it's funny. I'm now picturing OP lecturing my grey sweatpants while dressed in full-on 1776 George Washington attire.

by Weary_Aside_5956 1 month ago

nobody's making you look at someone else's crotch.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Eww

by Own_Order 1 month ago

I hate this word like everyone else hates moist. Moist crotch though. What a combo.

by brendon27 1 month ago

Sure, sometimes we just look at people bc we have eyes

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

so how is that anyone elses problem but your own?

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Then just avert them? Lol it's just courtesy.

by fernbergnaum 1 month ago

I feel like you're the same type of person that asks what a sexual assault victim was wearing. Idk why, it just feels like it's on the same wavelength.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

You sound like a principal that enforces the no shoulders showing rule

by Anonymous 1 month ago

so you go around staring at peoples crotches?

by pauladeckow 1 month ago

How are they too revealing? And why do people wearing comfy clothes have any effect on you and your day to day life?

by Slow-Bunch 1 month ago

Allegedly, it allows easy visibility of the outline of your dick. Allegedly

by Anonymous 1 month ago

They don't, it's just an unpopular opinion

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Obviously it does effect you or else you wouldn't have this opinion.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

It's giving he/she looks bad in them and is INSANELY insecure about it.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Not really, it's doesn't affect me but I do think they are far from flattering and don't understand why people wear them to go to work, to go out, etc

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Bro this page is meant to be a place for people to voice their unpopular opinions without getting lambasted. theyre doing it correctly and youre doing it very incorrectly

by lesterbayer 1 month ago

So you believe people should dress for your pleasure ?

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Grey fabrics are usually difficult to wear, for example, a sweat stain in a grey tshirt and in a black one looks very different. In this case, what meant is you can sometimes see the outline of the underwear just bc they are grey pants

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Here I sit wearing grey sweatpants lol

by zola25 1 month ago

lol, are u at home though?

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

I'm at home right now but I have been in public today and working.

by zola25 1 month ago

Wow crazy

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Too reveling?? Go back to school.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

I'm sorry professor, you can take a point from me. How many languages do u speak? Lol

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Materialistic nonsense

by Grand_Inflation 1 month ago

How?

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

It's not about the crotch but how sloppy the fabric looks

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

No they shouldn't. People have autonomy and should wear what they want.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Yes. We all agree. Doesn't mean people are free from being mocked for looking like a bum.

by Dagmar12 1 month ago

You've possibly missed the point of 'unpopular opinion'.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

You've possibly missed the point of opinions in general. Some agree and some don't.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

There's "unpopular opinions" then there's controlling people and trying to shame people for normal behaviors

by Extension-Ear 1 month ago

Wear what you want. People might look at you, that comes with the territory. No one has the right to make you feel uncomfortable, but you also cannot tell people where to look.

by Inevitable-Peak-1326 1 month ago

I agree they look sloppy usually. But when did looking sloppy mean you can't leave your house. Have you been to Walmart?

by Mammoth-Big-3236 1 month ago

lol I haven't

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Why specifically grey? All colors sure but just grey. That's a little strange.

by Antique_Incident7525 1 month ago

Because Grace sweatpants are typically associated with sporting dick.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

probably the popularity of girls telling men to wear grey sweats as it enhances and shows off their well endowed area. its the ‘dick imprint' pants these days

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Idk, of all the colors the grey looks more like an underwear to me

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

No, they shouldn't. Let me look at dick

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Actually agreed. The downside is that I would not be able to function around other people

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Hm

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

I agree that they are among the worst looking pieces of clothing in existence, and I will never wear nor even own one myself - but that's the only person I have control over whether wears them or not, and I'm fine with that. Don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

I'm not sticking my nose anywhere, it's an unpopular opinion

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

seems like someones girl was caught checking out what shes missing from her man via a man in grey sweats 💀

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Revealing doesn't have anything to do with dicks. Can't women wear them too? Grey is a color that usually shows every fabric you are wearing under

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

How tf are they revealing? They're sweatpants.

by Fine-Ticket9597 1 month ago

Yeah, but grey fabric usually shows sweat (lol), what you wear underneath, etc

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

How much are you sweating that your pants are getting sweat stains?

by Sengerjairo 1 month ago

This is one of those opinions that makes me think, "who the hell is even concerned about this??"

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Counterpoint, this is a freaking unpopular opinion

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Lol I don't think I can remember ever noticing another man's junk in sweatpants. Also they are so cheap, what do you suggest are equally as comfortable, match the warmth profile, cheap, and easy to slip on?

by Anonymous 1 month ago

This isn't about dicks, women wear them too. Have you ever seem a sweat stain in a grey t shirt and in a black one? Grey isn't a good choice. Anyways, price can vary, there are expensive sweatpants too

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

lmao dude doesn't like seeing swinging meat... don't go to n Italian deli

by Appropriate_Roll9478 1 month ago

This is not about dicks

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

sure guy

by Appropriate_Roll9478 1 month ago

Nope, check out my manhood's outline :)

by Feilmadie 1 month ago

I've kinda been saying this. Sweats and hoodies and the like are basically a fashion statement now. I don't get it. It looks sloppy and lazy. Although I wouldn't say it's "inside clothes". It's fine for an unglamorous trip to the grocery store or whatever, but don't pretend it looks cool.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

100%. Unless it's a statement as @Recent_Permit2653 said or to look like someone from US going to Walmart in a music video or photo shooting

by Own_Order 1 month ago

Bold of you to assume I wear pants indoors.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

You have been looking at too many memes

by Johnsleopoldo 1 month ago

grey sweatpants revealing? you should see what some women wear

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Ew

by Anonymous 1 month ago

🤏🏻

by Anonymous 1 month ago

🍝

by Anonymous 1 month ago

I guess you don't rock gray sweat pants like some men do 😆

by Anonymous 1 month ago

in what world is it revealing? it literally is the exact same as any other pants, just saggier and a different materiel also it absolutely does not look like underwear, that logic can be applied to pajamas as well

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Yes and you wear pijamas at home, i hope

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

"Anyone who wears sweatpants has lost control of their life."-Karl Lagerfeld. I think he ment outside of sport but i'm with you and Karl.

by Nadia67 1 month ago

I might have hurt some feelings, it's unpopular enough it seems

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

I love this. I don't agree with it, i just love the delusion. Because if I said we should ban short skirts because they're too revealing and slutty-- and meant it, I'd get rained on. (please, wear what you like, idgaf, just an example)

by Spiritual-Rock 1 month ago

My gray sweatpants are not revealing at all, idk what you're on about. That's more about material than anything

by Similar-Hippo-2010 1 month ago

I think they are, but we're at a point societally where we go out in "inside clothes."

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Not actually sure this one's unpopular.

by Legitimate-Ring 1 month ago

I mean I agree, but they're also fine grocery store attire.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

VIP at Walmart it seems

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Hahaha

by Anonymous 1 month ago

VPL*

by KeyAd 1 month ago

Screams prison wear to me

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Trendy

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

I do admit that I get too much female attention whenever I wear my sweatpants out in public.

by Secure-Stretch-1668 1 month ago

They're all wondering why you have no dick imprint at all

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Everyone should wear a burkha"

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Not a grey one pls

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

sweatpants are too revealing? what's next, turtlenecks are not covering enough?

by StorageSimilar3033 1 month ago

My eyes are up here though

by Anonymous 1 month ago

I mean...I carry daily so if I'm wearing something it's slacks or khakis. I don't like wearing loose clothing outside it feels weird. Other than shirts, I like loose shirts.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Same. Light pants in general don't do it for me. I recently purchased a cream color vintage designer chore jacket. It's been sitting in my closet. I'm like wtf is this???

by Consistent_Seat 1 month ago

Then why did you buy it?

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Why why. Why anything

by Consistent_Seat 1 month ago

Yeah, it's like they highlight whatever we don't want to show, idk

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago

Light shades are under shades

by Consistent_Seat 1 month ago

We should wear traditional wear.It would improve morale and society. It also isn't scandalous.

by Anonymous 1 month ago

Lol you can go on with your life, that isn't the point

by Sudden-Ebb 1 month ago
