I dont think its contraversal, i think that we'd never put the 2 in the same catagory, and the 2 catagories i can think of doesn't really work well since what wed judge them off of. Teen action novel that made it the big screen. And written when authors tried to incorporate a lesson to be learned, rather than a fill in the blank trope homework assignment. Even though some of the books of that time was just that, but you never heard of them.
